Can't start picking an order
If an order won’t pick, it’s usually one of these.
The order hasn’t been released
A new order sits in Sales orders until a manager releases it to the floor. Only then does it reach the To pick queue and the mobile app. See Create a sales order.
Not enough available stock
If the order needs more than is available, Klovio holds it. A manager must resolve it — pull stock from another location, transfer it in, backorder, or split the shipment.
The picker’s role
Picking only appears for staff whose role includes picking permissions. If the picker can’t see the queue at all, check their role.
It’s already being picked
An order another picker has started won’t open for a second person — Klovio prevents two pickers colliding on one order. Use batch picking for picking many orders at once on purpose.
A pick exception is holding it
An order with an unresolved exception — a short pick, a flagged line — waits for a manager before it moves on.
Tip: empty To pick queue on the app but orders in the dashboard? They simply haven’t been released. That’s the first thing to check.
