Use Klovio on a shared device

Last updated May 2026

Many warehouses keep a pool of shared phones rather than one per worker. Klovio works fine that way, with one rule: sign in as yourself.

Why signing in matters

Klovio records who did each receipt, pick and count. On a shared device, that’s only accurate if each worker signs in under their own username — see Install the Klovio mobile app. Otherwise every action lands on whoever logged in last.

The shared-device routine

  • Start of shift — pick up a device, sign in as yourself.
  • End of shiftsign out so the next person logs in as themselves.

Sync before handing it on

Before signing out, make sure the device has synced — no actions left in the offline queue. Queued work is tied to that device until it uploads. See Fix sync problems.

Keep them charged

Shared devices live or die by charging. A labeled charging rack, with every phone docked at end of shift, keeps the pool ready for the next crew.

Tip: number the physical devices (Phone 1, Phone 2…) and keep a sign-out sheet. If one goes missing with unsynced work, you know exactly which and who had it.
