Track overdue equipment
Overdue equipment is anything checked out and past its due date. Klovio surfaces it so items don’t quietly disappear.
See what’s overdue
Go to Admin → Equipment → Overdue. The list shows each overdue item, who has it, and how long it’s been out.
Why it matters
Equipment is expensive and it walks — usually not through theft, just drift. A scanner “borrowed” for an afternoon ends up in a locker for a month. The overdue list turns that invisible drift into a short, actionable list.
Working the list
- Follow up with the person holding each item.
- When an item comes back, check it in — that clears it from the list.
- An item that’s genuinely lost should be recorded as such, so the list reflects reality.
Prevent overdues
- Set a due date on every check-out — without one, nothing can be “overdue.”
- Use shift-length check-outs for shared devices, so anything not returned shows up next day.
- Make end-of-shift check-in routine.
Tip: review the overdue list every Monday. A weekly nudge keeps it short; left for a month it becomes a genuine “what have we lost?” investigation.
