Deactivate a team member
When someone leaves the team, deactivate their account. Their access ends; their work history stays intact.
Deactivate an account
- Go to Admin → Team — Managers or Employees.
- Open the person’s account.
- Click Deactivate.
They can no longer sign in to the dashboard or the mobile app, on any device.
Do it promptly
Deactivate on someone’s last day, not “soon.” An active account for a person who’s gone is an open door — especially on shared devices.
History is kept
Deactivating doesn’t erase anything. Every receipt, pick, count and adjustment that person did stays on record, correctly attributed, in reporting and the audit log. You keep a complete, accurate history.
Reactivating
If someone returns, reactivate the same account from the same screen — their history and settings are still there. No need to create them fresh.
Free up the seat
If your plan counts user seats, deactivating frees one for the next hire — see Add warehouses or seats.
Tip: make “deactivate the Klovio account” a line on your staff offboarding checklist, alongside collecting the badge and the keys.
