Create your first warehouse
A warehouse in Klovio is any physical place you store stock — a distribution center, a stockroom, a retail back room, even a van. Everything else (locations, inventory, receiving) lives inside a warehouse, so this is the first thing to set up.
Add a warehouse
- In the sidebar, open Warehouse → Warehouses → All warehouses.
- Click Add new.
- Enter a name (e.g.
Main WarehouseorWH-Houston) and the address. - Choose a time zone — this drives timestamps on receipts, picks and reports.
- Click Save.
Your warehouse is live immediately. There is no provisioning wait.
What to do next
A warehouse on its own is an empty building. Before you can track stock, add the places inside it:
- Locations — aisles, shelves and bins. See Set up aisles, shelves and bins.
- Staging areas — where inbound or outbound goods sit temporarily.
Then bring in your catalog with Import your products with a CSV.
Multiple warehouses
You can run several warehouses from one Klovio account. Each keeps its own inventory, locations and reporting, and the dashboard rolls everything up so you see the whole operation at a glance. Use Transfers to move stock between them.
Tip: name warehouses by location code (
WH-Houston,WH-Dallas) rather than generic names. It makes filters, labels and reports far easier to read once you have more than one.
