Build product kits and bundles
A kit (or bundle) is a product made of other products — a gift set, a starter pack, a multi-buy. You sell the kit, and Klovio tracks the components.
Create a kit
- Add a product as normal — see Add a single product — for the kit itself, with its own SKU.
- Mark it as a kit.
- Add the components: each product in the kit and the quantity of it.
How stock works
A kit’s availability is calculated from its components — you can build as many kits as your scarcest component allows. When a kit ships, Klovio deducts each component’s stock, not a separate “kit” count. You never double-count.
Picking a kit
On an order, a kit expands into its components on the pick list, so pickers pull the real items from their real locations.
Kits vs. cases
A kit mixes different products. A case is many of the same product — that’s a unit of measure, not a kit.
Tip: review kit definitions when a component is discontinued. A kit quietly becomes un-buildable the moment one component can’t be sourced.
