Pick a sales order

Picking is pulling the right products, in the right quantities, for an outbound order. Klovio guides each pick on the mobile app so the wrong item simply can’t be confirmed.

Start a pick

1. A manager moves orders into the pick queue from Operations → Shipping → To pick.
2. In the mobile app, open Picking. You’ll see orders waiting.
3. Tap an order to start.

Work the pick list

Klovio sorts the pick list by location, so you walk an efficient path instead of crossing the warehouse twice.

For each line:

1. Walk to the location shown.
2. Scan the location label to confirm you’re in the right spot.
3. Scan the item barcode. Klovio checks it matches the line — a wrong item is rejected on the spot.
4. Confirm the quantity.

The list ticks down as you go. When every line is picked, the order moves to packing.

Short picks

If a bin holds fewer units than the order needs, pick what’s there and mark the line short. Klovio flags the order so a manager can decide — pull from another location, split the shipment, or backorder.

Multiple pickers

Large orders can be split across pickers, and several small orders can be picked in one trip (batch picking). Klovio keeps each order’s items separate so they don’t get mixed at the pack bench.
