Pack an order into boxes
Most inventory software stops at picking. Klovio goes all the way to the sealed box — the packing module is included on every plan.
Start packing
- A picked order arrives in Operations → Shipping → To pack.
- In the mobile app, open Packing and select the order.
- Klovio shows every item the order needs.
Pack the box
- Scan an item as you place it in the box. Klovio ticks it off the list.
- Scanning verifies the item belongs to this order — wrong items are rejected, so a mis-pack is caught before the box is sealed.
- When the box holds everything it should, tap Close box.
Multi-box orders
Big orders rarely fit one carton. To start another box, tap Add box and keep scanning — Klovio tracks which item went into which box (Box 1 of 3, Box 2 of 3, and so on). Each box gets its own packing slip and label.
Finish
When every item is packed across every box, tap Complete order. Klovio then:
- Generates packing slips and shipping labels — see Print packing slips and shipping labels
- Deducts the stock automatically — no manual adjustment, no end-of-day reconciliation
- Moves the order to Shipped
Substitutions
Need to swap an item? Packing won’t let you confirm something that isn’t on the order. Send it back to picking for a manager to adjust the line — the order stays accurate.
Tip: keep a scale at the pack bench and note carton weight. It speeds up label creation and catches “something’s missing” before the box ships.
