Keep the mobile app up to date
Klovio improves the mobile app regularly. Running a current version means every device has the latest fixes and features.
Update the app
- iOS — updates come through the App Store. Turn on automatic updates, or update Klovio manually.
- Android — updates come through Google Play, the same way.
Keep devices current
- Switch on automatic app updates on every device — the simplest approach for a fleet.
- For shared devices, check for updates as part of a regular maintenance pass.
If the app asks you to update
Occasionally the app will prompt that an update is required to keep working with the latest server. Update before the next shift — it takes a minute.
Update vs. sync
An app update is new software from the store. A sync is your queued work uploading to Klovio. They’re separate — see Fix sync problems. Always sync pending work before updating, just as good practice.
Tip: leave automatic updates on. A fleet of phones all on the current version is one less thing to think about — and avoids the “works on that phone but not this one” puzzle.
