Invite your team and assign roles

Klovio separates your people into two groups: managers, who work in the web dashboard, and employees, who work on the floor with the mobile app. Both are managed under Admin → Team.

Invite a manager

  1. Go to Admin → Team → Managers.
  2. Click Add new and enter their name and email.
  3. Pick a role (see below).
  4. Click Send invite. They receive an email to set their password.

Add a warehouse employee

Employees usually sign in on the mobile app with a username and PIN rather than email.

  1. Go to Admin → Team → Employees.
  2. Click Add new, enter their name and assign a role.
  3. Klovio generates a username; set or auto-generate a PIN.
  4. Share the username, PIN and your company path so they can log in. See Install the Klovio mobile app.

Roles and permissions

A role is a named set of permissions — what someone can see and do. Klovio ships with starting roles like Warehouse Manager, Picker and Receiver, and you can create your own under Admin → Team → Roles.

Permissions are grouped by module (Inbound, Picking, Inventory, and so on) with actions like List, Create and Edit. The sidebar and screens each person sees adapt automatically — a Picker simply won’t see receiving or admin tools.

Tip: give new staff a narrow role first. It is much easier to add permissions when someone asks than to claw them back later.
