Run a cycle count
A cycle count verifies a portion of your inventory at a time. Counting a little, often, keeps accuracy high without ever shutting the warehouse down.
Start a cycle count
- Go to Inventory → Inventory → Cycle counts.
- Click New count and choose its scope:
- A location or zone
- A category of products
- A list of specific SKUs
- Assign it to a counter. It appears as a task on their mobile app.
Count on the app
The counter goes location to location, scans each item and enters the quantity found. They count what’s there — they don’t see the system number, so the count stays honest.
Review and apply
When counting finishes, Klovio shows every line where counted ≠ expected. A manager reviews and applies the corrections — see Resolve a count discrepancy.
A simple cadence
Count fast-movers and high-value SKUs often (weekly or monthly); count the slow tail a few times a year. Over a quarter you’ll have touched everything — with no full shutdown.
Tip: count first thing, before receiving and picking start. Counting a location while stock is moving through it guarantees a discrepancy that isn’t real.
