Add images to a product

A product photo helps pickers and packers confirm, at a glance, that they have the right item — especially across look-alike SKUs.

Add an image

1. Open the product under Inventory → Products → All products and click Edit.
2. In the Image section, upload a photo or take one on a phone.
3. Save.

The image then appears on the product in the dashboard and on the mobile app during picking and packing.

What makes a good product photo

• Plain background — the item, not the warehouse behind it
• The label facing forward so size and variant are clear
• Good light — a quick phone photo at a pack bench is fine

Do you need images on everything?

No. Prioritize products that are easy to mix up — same brand, different size or flavor. A photo there prevents real pick errors. Obvious, one-of-a-kind items don’t need one.

Tip: photographing a few SKUs? Do it as you receive them — the item is already in hand, and one bench photo per item takes seconds.
