Duplicate a product
When you add a product that’s similar to one you already have — a different size or flavor of the same line — duplicate saves re-typing every field.
Duplicate a product
- Open the product you want to copy under Inventory → Products → All products.
- Click Duplicate.
- Klovio opens a new product form pre-filled with the original’s details.
- Change what’s different — at minimum the SKU, name and barcode — then Save.
What carries over
Category, unit of measure, dimensions, cost and reorder point all copy across, since similar products usually share them. Stock does not copy — the new product starts at zero, as every new product does.
What must be unique
The SKU and each barcode must be unique. Klovio won’t let you save a duplicate that still has the original’s SKU.
Tip: building a whole size range — 250ml, 500ml, 1L? Duplicating from one master product keeps the whole family consistent. For a large range, a CSV is faster still.
