Connect QuickBooks Online
Connecting QuickBooks Online lets Klovio and your accounting share product and inventory data, so you’re not entering the same thing twice.
Before you start
- You need a QuickBooks Online account (the desktop edition is not supported).
- You’ll need an admin login for both Klovio and QuickBooks.
- The integration is available on the Growth and Enterprise plans.
Connect the two
- In Klovio, open Settings → Integrations.
- Find QuickBooks Online and click Connect.
- You’re sent to QuickBooks to sign in and authorize Klovio. This uses QuickBooks’ own secure login — Klovio never sees your QuickBooks password.
- Approve the connection. You’re returned to Klovio with the integration marked Connected.
What syncs
- Products map to QuickBooks items by SKU.
- Inventory movements — receipts and shipments — can post so stock valuation stays current.
You choose the sync direction and frequency during setup; start conservative and widen it once you trust the flow.
Keep SKUs aligned
The integration matches records by SKU. If a SKU differs between the two systems, that product won’t match. Before the first sync, make sure your Klovio SKUs and QuickBooks item codes agree.
Disconnecting
To stop syncing, return to Settings → Integrations and click Disconnect. Existing data stays in both systems; only the live link is removed.
Tip: run the first sync outside business hours and review a handful of products in QuickBooks before turning on automatic syncing.
